How Holidays Work at Benbrook Music Academy
With Labor Day coming up, it’s the perfect time to explain how holidays are handled here at Benbrook Music Academy.
No Lessons on Labor Day
There will be no lessons on Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day. All other lessons during the week will continue as scheduled.
Do Monday students miss out?
Not at all. Every student at Benbrook Music Academy—whether they come on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Saturdays—receives 48 lessons per year. That’s the same number for everyone.
How do we make this work?
We balance the calendar. For example, while Monday students are off for Labor Day, they will still have a regular lesson on Monday, December 22 when most other students are already on winter break. This way, the count always adds up to 48.

Why do we do it this way?
We want every student to enjoy the holidays while still receiving the same number of lessons.
What about tuition?
Tuition is based on the yearly schedule—not per month. Some months have 4 lessons, some 5, and occasionally 3. You’re never charged more for 5 and never less for 3. It all evens out across the year, keeping things simple and fair for every family.
✨ Bottom line: No matter what day your child takes lessons, they’ll always get the full 48 lessons each year.
